The Bigger Picture

Despite being one of the most developed countries in Asia, Singapore only has a 60% recycling rate. We only have 1 landfill that critics say would only last us another 30 years if situations do not improve. As much as people don’t care about recycling, it is critical to put the topic of waste in the minds of Singaporeans and educate them right to spur effective action.

“The Bigger Picture” is an online photo series that visually showcase how the problem of waste can be overlooked in light of more prioritised global issues, so as to inspire action on recycling.
